What Are Travel Insurance Benefits?

Travel insurance benefits are coverages and services available to you when you purchase a travel insurance plan. Each company has unique coverage, but there are a set of industry standards.

For instance, comprehensive travel insurance plans tend to provide benefits for cancellation, interruption, and medical emergencies. In contrast, long-term coverage typically only covers for medical emergencies and evacuations.

However there are exceptions to every industry standard, so be sure to check your plan documents!
